Are trees your bag? This mug is inspired by that evening walk in the forest where the light is beginning to fail and the colours shift, taking on luminescent qualities. The glaze is applied in vertical strokes to really get that sense of the dark descending. A perfect mug for a large coffee or tea (a black coffee looks amazing against the sage green of the mug). 
 
I make these in my tiny studio in Bristol - this is thrown in brown clay which gives depth to the glazes. I glaze each mug by hand and, being  subject to the intense heat of the kiln, the mug I send won't exactly match the image in the photo. 
 
This mug is designed for daily use, being both sturdy but light enough to feel amazing in your hand. It's the ideal size for a latte, americano, or a good cup of tea. It is both dishwasher and microwave safe, so you can use your new favourite mug every day.
