A sandy beach and frothy waves. Makes your mind wander amongst stripy windbreaks and buckets and spades. Feeling the sand under your feet, and the drip of ice cream down your fingers. A classic beachscape, brought to life on a vase.
 
Perhaps my cheeriest colourway, beachscape makes me smile whenever I see it. Dress it up with some scented narcissi or a blousy peony or two, and its a guaranteed rush of love.
 
Wheel-thrown in my Bristol studio from stoneware. I paint the glazes on each vase by hand, so the froth of the sea over the sand of the beach is never quite the same - you will get a one of the kind which will be a close resemblance to the picture but will not be identical.
