A small vase that earns its place on any windowsill, shelf, or table.
 
Wheel-thrown in my Bristol studio from stoneware, these bud vases are sized for a few stems — a ranunculus, some cow parsley, a sprig of whatever's growing — and glazed in layered colourways that shift with the light.
 
Each one is individually made and finished with two or three overlapping glazes, applied by hand so the colours bleed and pool in ways that are never quite the same twice.
 
The horizon line where the glazes meet is part of the character of the piece.
 
Available in a range of colourways. 
 
Holds water. Made to be used, not saved for best.
 
Each vase is one of a kind so will resemble the image but not be exactly the same.
