I'm Jen...

.... and I make all of my pots in my tiny garden studio in East Bristol. Every part of the making process is interwoven into my daily life - whether that is popping out for a quick throwing session in my studio before breakfast, or glazing my pots at my kitchen table.

AND I MAKE...

... because I love all parts of the pottery process - from working with the wet clay, to choosing colour and glaze combinations, and then taking my pots to market and meeting all the lovely people.

POTS

...whose final form is a result of multiple processes. The pot begins it's life as wet clay being shaped on my potter's wheel. As it dries I refine the pot and add handles, before firing it for the first time. I make my glaze choices and fire the pot again, before sanding any unglazed parts so the finished object is pleasing to look at and hold.
