A dreamy evocation of an imagined landscape, this mug has copper flashes and subtly varied greens, greys and browns. For me it is a winter scene where mud and grass are intertwined, the vibrancy of the grass dulled by frost, and the sharpness of the landscape fogged by mist. If you love a winter walk, or are just a sucker for moody greens, then this is your mug. 
 
I make these in my small studio in Bristol - this is thrown in black clay which provides the backdrop for the moody glazing here. I spend time developing glaze combinations and paint on several layers of glaze to create the finished object. Each mug is glazed by hand and subject to the vagaries of the kiln, so what arrives with you won't necessarily be an exact match to the photos.
 
This mug is designed for daily use, being both robust and refined. It's the perfect size for a latte, americano, or a good cup of tea. Dishwasher and microwave safe, so you can keep it in rapid rotation.
