Named for the Dark Peak edges that rise above moorland - Stanage, Curbar, Froggatt - where light sky meets weathered stone and boggy peat.
 
The glaze has its own movement during firing, so the line between sky and gritstone edge shifts slightly on every piece (you will receive a mug that resembles the image, but is not the exact mug pictured).
 
Wheel thrown in speckled stoneware, with a generous handle for a proper grip, and a capacity that suits a full pot of tea or coffee without needing a refill.
 
Made to be used, not saved for best, dishwasher and microwave safe.
