The eagle eyed among you might notice that my website has some amazing new photos on it. These are courtesy of the fabulous Claire Preece Photography. The opportunity to spend 2 hours with Claire came along, and I am extremely lucky to have a folder of over 100 photos which I absolutely love.
Claire took some action photos of me in my back garden studio making some pots, some more portrait style photos of me with my pots, and some photos of me out in St Werburghs, making use of some of the street art as a distinctive background.
The photo shoot was brilliantly fun - I had a lovely time doing my thing, chatting to Claire, and generally loving being in front of the camera (making it unlike any photography experience I've had before).
I got the photos through this morning and just love them so much. I look at them and see myself loving what I'm doing and where I am. There is a magic to them which quietens the doubting and self critical voice inside me. They're me favourite photos of myself in my whole life. They tell me that I'm in the right place, doing the right thing, being my best self. Thank you Claire!
If you are thinking of having some photos done, Claire is the best and she does all kinds of photos (wedding, makers, portraits, family shoots etc.). If you're not thinking of having some photos done, consider it. You won't regret it.
